I actually thought Archie was the best he's ever been......I tried not to like him, but thought he did well. He will need to learn how to form a sentence, win or loose though. I'm over the aw shucks thanks so much thing...it's apparent to me that it fake (Daddy coached him well)....but ya know based on the audience reaction at the show and the preview show I watched on TVGuide Channel, I think there might be a huge support base for Cook. And I loved Cook's Collective Soul song too! I liked that he didn't repeat a song he'd already done - he took one more chance.....hopefully he'll be rewarded.
This is the first time I have watched an entire season it will probably be my last. It made me sick at they way Cook was treated. I have liked them both but I am a Cook fan although he won me over. I wanted Cook gone early on but he grew and really impressed me. I do not think it was all Little D last night. I definitely thought Round 1 went to Cook. But shouldn't it be about the whole season? IMO Little David has done the same thing over and over- never really taking a risk but will probably win. Cook is the better artist. Just like Daughtry I believe I will be able to listen to Cook's cd from start to finish. Either way they are both talented and should have good success.
You should have seen how upset my husband was about Round 3 and the redo of Imagine. I'm glad Cook spoke up about why he didn't repeat. I really just wanted to jump through the tv and smack Simon. ( I am normally not appalled by Simon) I also thought that Little David did better the 1st time on Imagine.
No matter how much we tried we could not get our votes in. But lo and behold my coworker got her David A vote in.

I had to step in with my opinion. I am a BIG David Cook fan. I voted 107 times last night! David A. just drives me crazy when the tears start flowing. You compliment him, he cries. You tell him that he was terrible, he cries. You are 17 years old!! STOP CRYING!!!! The difference in David Cook crying last night was that it actually seemed genuine.
David Cook has the potential to sell records. David A. needs to sign on with Disney to make a movie.

I NEVER was able to get through with Daughtry! I was so mad! Chris Daughtry lived about 30 minutes from here. He kids went to the school that I used to work at.
