Report: Steven Tyler checks into rehab

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler has checked himself into rehab, TMZ.com reported on Wednesday.

According to the Web site, Tyler admitted himself into Las Encinas Hospital drug rehabilitation clinic, the same place where the show "Celebrity Rehab" was filmed.

Tyler, 60, is seeking treatment for substance abuse, TMZ reported.

Tyler revealed in September 2006 that he was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2003 and had undergone 11 months of chemotherapy.
