The latest is I'm leaving Weipa in 4 weeks time and should have a baby about a month after! I definitely look pregnant now and the baby is kicking...OMG...amazing feeling!!!! LOL I still have no maternity clothes and I am living in sarongs!

The plan is to head back to Brisbane for a holiday and freak my family and friends out when I arrive with my husband and baby in tow! They do not have a clue!!!! This has been hard to keep from them but I am 3000km away so it is easy to hide it!!!!

Isn't it amazing when you feel baby moving around?  Though I wouldn't get pregnant again for all the money in the world, the best part of pregnancy was feeling the baby move.  aww

I hope your double surprise goes well!! The baby will probably get all the attention.  Please send us some pics of your hubby and baby when you can!! smile

no.gif  I was just wondering if you have names chosen for both sexes.  But I forgot, you already know what baby is, so you probably came up with one that would give your surprise away.

I can wait til baby is born.  I hope everything goes well from here on out Jules.  And please don't listen to women who tell you about their own labor and birthing of baby stories.  Some women get off on trying to scare new mothers, some like to embellish their stories, and some try to "one up" other women--as in who had the longest, worst labor.

Thanks Sandy! And it is easier to stay away from labour horror stories up here! There are hardly any women up here anyway to fill my head with stories! And since my friends and family do not know they can't either!

I hope it all goes well! I've never been so happy or so terrified at the same time!

Will you have time for baby classes once you get to your destination when you leave Weipa?  Do they require you to attend those so your husband can be in the delivery room with you?  Here they do; even if you already have other kids, you have to take refresher classes.  Ha, like you could forget what you're supposed to do.

Yep..I'll be going to baby classes! I got a month in Cairns before the baby is born so I have time! Oh by the way...the baby is probably gonna be born by caesarian (however you spell it)! There is a couple of issues with my health...not too bad...but they feel it would be safer for me and the baby to have one. Gonna try go the natural way first!

At least they've told you there might be a possibility of a C-section.  They won't take any chances; if something isn't going right or baby is under too much stress or you're not doing well.  They'll probably have you hooked up to a fetal monitor and that tells them a lot.  I think they've vastly improved on C-sections compared to the old days.  And the drugs have gotten better too if you need them.

I'm very excited for you Jules!!!  I know you'll make a fine mommy!  Motherhood is scary at times, but there are abundant joys to be found in it too.  biggrin

Try to rest as much as you can, and don't worry too much about false labor; you'll know for sure when it's time for baby's entrance into the world.

If you have any questions now or after baby is born, feel free to pm me.  I'm not an expert by any means, but I'll share with you what I know and what I've learned.

I can't wait till baby is born and you tell us if it's a boy or a girl.....then I can go shopping for baby things to send to you!!  I love the baby department in the stores....so many cute little things to choose from.  biggrin
