Best album of the 80's

What do you feel is the best album from the 80's??

I feel that it's Joshua Tree. I loved the first side of that album so much, that it took me 6 months to even turn it over to listen to side 2. And then I found that side 2 was even better than side 1. still is one hell of an album.

There wasn't ONE best album of the 80's, there was like 20 of them!

But Huey Lewis & The News SPORTS is way up there!

I used to have to sleep with music playing constantly and for months that album (cassette) was the one that played over and over every night.

I'd have to add Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA".

All of the albums suggested are phenomenal.

You're right, the 80's were awesome!

I agree with all of the above. Too many to give one the honor!

I agree...there were so many.  There were those albums you could listen to all the way through that were so great...

INXS - "Listen Like Theives" comes to mind.

There were a few Van Halen albums I really loved (all the "#" ones 1984, 5150, OU812).

I also loved Sting's "Dream of The Blue Turtles."
