If you or someone you know is a singer or is in a band and has a demo cd out, we'd be more than happy to get that cd into the rotation here at Freeze Frame Radio.
Jazz 101 features roughly a half dozen unsigned artists who've sent demos to JD; and these are featured regularly on the show. In addition, Riggs has featured a local band and some up and coming national pop artists who had contacted the station and sent music in.
So spread the word! Get the music you know and love played to a world-wide internet audience that is ever-growing!
I invite the listeners to check out the new artist's sites that I have set up on the Jazz 101 page. These are artists who have been in contact with me, and whose music is featured regularly on Jazz 101.
Check out Matt Roberts link. Not only is he really a nice guy, he and his band just won the L.A. Music Awards Independent Jazz Ensemble Award of 2004. Congrats Matt!
Joe Finn, based out of New York, was the first artist to contact me once Jazz 101 began, asking to have his music featured on the show. It was a complete honor. He is really making a name for himself.
Paul Silbergleit is a Milwaukee based musician who is starting to get international airplay on both traditional jazz and smooth jazz stations. If you click this link, you can download some of his songs for free. I saw him at a Milwaukee jazz fest this past summer, and he and his band are really really fun and talented musicians who thoroughly enjoy performing.
More and more artists are being added as we move into the 2nd year of the show! Freeze Frame Radio! Onwards and Upwards!
