Lunch, Weather, mashed, baked or fried?

I had a steakum sandwich with some onions, mustard and sharp cheddar cheese.  YUM!  Very tasty.

It's only 82 at the moment, which is weird because they were calling for it to be brutal.  I wonder what happened.

Personally I tend to get the fries usually, but if they're done right I love mashed potatoes too.  Expecially if you mix in some turkey and cheese.

I'm gonna have a chicken sandwich and chips today, it's rainy as usuall and my choice of potato is not up there. I love me some crispy hash browns but will go with mashed otherwise.

Yes, I still feel a bit woozy, headachy and weak. It was mashers or toast.

How could I forget about hash browns?  I LOVE hash browns.  In fact, I think you just called supper for me tonight.  Some hashbrowns and turkey.  YUM!

I think sweet potatoes are the only kind I don't like. And I don't like traditional gravy on my mashed. My mother-in-law recently made a different kind of gravy that was kinda sweet that I enjoyed. Otherwise I don't like gravy except biscuits and gravy.

A Smart Ones - chicken fettucini, a diet soda, some strawberries and a 4oz can of mixed fruit. If I need a snack later I have a pack of peanutbutter crackers.

73 degrees and mostly cloudy. We may have some storms later this afternoon.

My potato choice depends upon the main course of the meal. But I eat them all, even the hash browns.

I may be the only person on the forum that doesn't eat potatoes. I love mashed potatoes with sour cream and shredded cheese, but I haven't had them in years. I love sweet potatoes. I make a maple butter to put on them. It's just butter, brown sugar, and maply syrup. It is so good. smile.gif

Corned beef sammich, crackers with some spinach dip, and a few chocolate chips.

76, mostly sunny and the wind just really picked up.

First choice is mashed with fried chicken gravy. Uh Huh! Next would be french fries unless its a nice dinner then I go with baked & butter.

No sour cream for me, thanks. I prefer my cream before it goes bad.

Another Woo fact:

I love sour cream. I use more than I need. I do that with cream cheese too.

Mmmm I'm hungry

Yep, I can eat potatoes, the last I checked there's no corn in them. It's all the stuff you put with them that I have to watch for.

My favorite is a little baked potato with my sour cream, I just have to make sure the sour cream is real, not the cheap kind made with cornstarch.

Second would have to be potatoes sliced, put in some foil with some salt, pepper, garlic powder, and butter and grilled. And I like the ones that got brown and crunchy.

My husband also makes homemade potato chips that are yummy!

I can have french fries as long as they aren't cooked in corn (or just "vegetable") oil. Penn Station cooks theirs in peanut oil, and they are the best fries around.
