I'm also being stuck by HOW FREAKIN' COOL this is tonight! biggrin.gif

It's so amazing that we can have an internet station and for my money it sounds just as good as an over the air broadcast.

I've got you turned up on the stereo speakers in the living room JD and the sound is awesome. I LOVE INTERNET RADIO.

It still makes me scratch my head though when I think about how we can't seem to find any listeners hmm.gif

I know what you mean JR.  I have my computer hooked up to the stereo downstairs, and when I'm down there, I'll have FFR playing over the stereo.  Great sound!!!  Just as good as local broadcasting in my opinion.  biggrin

I wish more people hooked their computers up to their stereos. I think if they did they'd really get hooked on internet radio.

It's just not the same experience when you're listening through a couple little computer speakers.

I've set up a nice wireless speaker system so I can turn the station on in any room I'm in. I absolutely love it.

Even if the station were to go off the air one day I think I'd still keep it running just for my house.

well hey cool to be all stereophonic.smile.gif

lol riggs remember the magic math we used to run? OK 50 feeds this evening. but keep in mind that there is possibly a bunch of people hearing via a single feed because people crank it through their speakers, sharing it with friends and family as well. So that means 200 people listening potential. etc etc. biggrin.gif

Well, on Sunday nights, I listen through my headphones and it still sounds really, really good to me.  Of course I do have a more expensive set of headphones than most people would usually listen through so I'm sure that makes a little bit of difference.  But I also run it through windows media player, instead of loudcity's default player, and that really helps out too.

It's still thundering, lightning, and raining here.  The clouds look wicked, but no severe weather bulletins are up, so that's good.

We sure do!  Our weather forecasters have been watching/showing Milwaukee's weather and telling us that's what's in store for us the next day.  Same thing during the winter...whatever you get, we get the next day.

Yep, all that moisture off Lake MI just beefs those storms right back up so they're really packing a punch by the time they get to me.  Once they leave me, they're out over Saginaw Bay, heading right for the tip of the thumb of MI; again picking up lots more moisture before hitting them.

The storms we really have to watch though are the ones that come out of the East!  When we get those, they're super nasty!!  Luckily we don't have them come at us from that direction very often.
