Ken Griffey just hit his 600th home run in the first inning.  He is only the 6th person to do so in MLB history.  There was a time he was considered the odds on favorite to break Hank Aaron's record.  If he hadn't had the injury problems his career has been plagued with, I think he would have.  I would have preferred him to Bonds.  Griffey hasnt been linked to the juice....and Aaron's record deserved to be broken honestly, not through better chemisty.

You're right, without the injuries he would have far exceeded Bonds.

But worry not. A-Rod will own the record before he retires. Then that ASSterik can be removed from the top of the list.

I'm surprised too. There's usually one owner willing to stoop low enough to sign just about anyone if they think it'll bring fannies to the seats.
