oh hello!
some turkey has been intermittently leaning on a car horn out front for about an hour. When I go to work, if that person is still out there, I think I am going to walk across their car on the way to mine. smile.gif

Don't you hate rude people like that? If someone is expecting a ride or is scheduled to be picked up at a certain time, be outside and be ready to go. I think it is rude to constantly be laying on the horn. Not everyone keeps the same work hours/schedules that this moron blowing the horn does. And it never seems to phase them that anything is wrong.

I'll help you kick this guy's butt. I have two school vans that do the same thing every morning across the street. I just don't understand it. All the kid has to do is stand on his porch. Then there is the car lately that comes by over there somewhere and does the same thing at various times of the day.

My father never stood for that. A boy better not dare honk the horn if he were picking any of us up for the evening. no.gif  That was a big no no. Like guys needed another reason for him to hate them.

My dad was the same way Fuzzy.  If a guy was picking me up, he had better come to the door to get me.  And I find I do the same thing with my girls......no sitting in the car blowing the horn for my girls.  I wanna see who it is they're going out with.

We have routes who pick people up for work here. We actually have to make notes on the route sheets about whether you can blow the horn in that neighborhood or not.

I am now convinced that somewhere, there is a written rule that anyone who delivers newspapers in the early morning hours, MUST drive a car with no muffler.

Why do you think they are delivering papers? Probably to afford a new muffler. I can't imagine that pays all that well. The other thing about paper people is that they usually have the radio blaring too.

At our old house there was a jack aft that picked up the guy across the street at 5:30 every morning. He would do two long honks for the guy to come out. On the nights that we would get home late I would pull up right by his bedroom window and give the same two long honks and rev my motor. He must have gotten the point because it did eventually stop. smile.gif

G'afternoon all!

Don't forget, the Brewers are on at 2 PM ET today! clap.gif

Big win last night, we're going for the series win today behind ace pitcher and eggshell Ben Sheets.

Inspired by Webguy who's wife was baking bread when I chatted with him earlier in the week, I'm going all Martha Stewart today and taking a stab at making home-made hamburger buns. I love to cook, but baking has never really been my strong point. We'll see how this goes. I'm just excited to have the smell of home-made bread in the house.

Well, that's all for now kids. I'll return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
