Hey


Riggs and I tossed this idea around a week ago, and I wanted to get feedback on it. What would the regular daytime listeners of the station think, if once a week, riggs were to play a "jd's pick of the week" during the workday which would be a jazz song, in order to draw attention to the jazz programming on Sunday night here at Freeze Frame Radio? Would the audience accept this, or would this upset the vibe of the weekday genre & send listeners fleeing in droves??  Are listeners that fickle, even if they hate jazz, or is one song not enough to send them fleeing?

Cool- Riggs and I will come up with an intro bumper next sunday when I am in the studio. Riggs, I'll copy a song over each week to the network somewhere that you'll see it; in a JD's Pick of the Week folder or something. Pick yer time to play it and we'll see how it goes!


Can't wait to do the infamous "African Leaf Carrying Song"!!! WOOHOO ALL 8 MINUTES!! How 'bout that for a Friday noon crowd hey??

I usually listen in the wee hours of the night, but I think it's a great idea. I love jazz and blues. Would love to see this idea be a big hit and see it move on to the later hours too.
