Wow!  I'm used to seeing lots of farmland under water here, but to see a metro downtown area like this underwater is amazing.

I just read online that counties north and west of me had big storms go through last night. Some towns received 11 inches of rain overnight, washing out a major highway near Ludington.  We didn't get a drop of rain last night.

This may not be a good sign, especially since it is so early in the season. Unless they will go from flooding to drought. It has happened in other places.

It's now 438 blocks under water and the Des Moine river is still rising!

gettin my facts screwed up.

The IOWA river is flooding Cedar Rapids.

Des Moines is flooding too because of the Des Moine river.
