Brewers hitting on all cylinders today!

Russel "the muscle" Branyon hit another three run homer.

Prince "I don't gotsta pay my taxes if'n I don't wanna" Fielder hit an inside the park homer when the idiot outfielder for the Jays decided he didn't need to pull a ball out of the outfield wall padding, the umpire disagreed.

Most amazing though, Dave Bush is firing a, well he hasn't, he uh.  Well I can't say it or I'll jinx it, but baseball fans know what our starting pitcher is doing into the seventh inning already!  smile.gif

Score at the moment:  Milwaukee:  8   Toronto:  Goose Egg

Yeah, you could see like 80% of the white of the ball between two pads, but instead of grabbing it and throwing it in he threw his hands up like he thought it should be a ground rule double. The ump say "nuh uh" and Fielder walked in without a throw.

Actually no. Which shocked me. If you can't see the ball in the vines it's considered a double. You don't have to search for it.

But in this case it was clearly visible. I can't wait to read to two Toronto papers in the morning to see what they have to say. They've been beating up on their team pretty hard lately. (Nothing like the Houston Chronicle has been tearing apart the Astro's though, WOW! That's some fun reading!)

Stoopid announcer Brian Anderson said the words though!  He better not have jinxed it!  I bet when they went off air Bill Schroeder smacked him!

Congrats to Dave Bush.  He gave up a triple to lead off the eighth, but it was a nice attempt at the no-hitter.

It would have been a single but Ryan Braun dove in an attempt to save the no-hitter.  Can't blame him for that.

I've also noticed they can be quite delayed.

Are you using the ESPN Gameday? That's the best one I've seen, it gives a play by play along with the score.

That is a big man motoring around the bases. Him getting that inside the park hr is like Burrell and Howard getting triples. Did I mention that Burrell and Howard both had triples the other day in the same game? weirdface

They are all delayed. I either use ESPN or Fox Sports. Good job by Bush though. Go Brewers!

Prince hit an in the park homer last year on June 19'th too! That must be how HE celebrates Juneteenth day smile.gif

Last one was in Minnesota when the ball hit a speaker on the roof.

He leads the team in inside the park homers. Who woulda thunk?

Maybe. But he isn't getting tax freedom. That story was on MSN this morning.

Wow.

A 6 run 8'th inning for the Jays and now we're clinging to an 8 - 7 lead. Nice job bullpen.

As a Phillies fan, I know all too well about these things. no.gif

Maybe not as much as this year, but it has happened.

This year has been horrible for hard losses Fuzz.

I'll bet you we've lost 6 to 8 games that should have been locked up. I mean, just heartbreaking losses where we're up 5 - 1 with one out in the ninth and then suddenly we lose 7 - 5.

If we'd have one half of those games we should have won we'd be in first or a game or two back.

Our idiot manager Ned Yost has actually been quoted several times saying "Well, you rather have these games happen in April or May than in September". EXCUSE ME?!?! Maybe that kind of thinking is why we haven't played a truly meaningful game in September since you've been here you BUTTHEAD! angered.gif

Trust me. The Phillies have a few of those games this year too. They always do. I can think of at least four games so far. I know there will be others. But those four games would definitely give us more room in the division.

The Flyers did a lot of that all year long. They blew at least 10 or 12 games that way.

And another thing, why would a coach say that? It is never good to have that happen at any time of year. I understand it does, but no one should be satisfied with that answer.

Fuzzy, you must be good luck.  A brewer win and Fuzzy cheerin' the boys on...thanks.  Maybe you can send some Packer love our way later this year.  Without #4, we might need it.
