Anyone have an opinion on Macbook notebooks?

the guy on the commercial seemed pretty impressed, but thats really the only place I've seen them. And I am sure he was paid for his endorsement.

I've never had or used one myself, but I think most people that have them love them.

As long as you don't have specific Windows programs that you need to run, I think you'd be happy with a Mac.

I use a Mac at work all day, I haven't used their laptops much, but for me Macs are far superior when it comes to creative things, such as video, music and graphics in my case, I would go for it If I were you, once you go Mac you never go back!

I know a few people studying IT type stuff at IU, one even going for their doctorate, and they all have Macs. That would be enough of an endorsement for me.

And the Mac/PC gap is being bridged. At Startup Weekend, I'd say about half of the people there had Macs (again, a very techie crowd), and we had no problem sharing files.
