Monday, blah

Welcome to a 4-day work week.  Which means, it'll feel like a year before Thursday comes.

I got a no day work week hmm.gif

But Monday is the day I spend all day scouring the job section and the online services. Hopefully something I apply for today will lead to something.

I got a little bit of a head start and applied for a few jobs yesterday.

I'm starting to wish I'd stuck to my original plan and waited until fall to start looking. I could have just enjoyed the summer without the stress of wondering why I'm not getting any nibbles on my applications. I don't know, I'm starting to wonder if maybe it's a mistake to mention my desire for world domination on the applications. I just feel it's only fair to warn them that eventually all of man kind will be working for ME. hmm.gif

At any rate, think I'm gonna go pick up a few things, then come back here and hit the job sites hard again.

I got good news yesterday that my Mom might come out for a week in August clap.gif Dylan was talking about a visit in August or February. I told him I'd recommend February when he can escape the frozen tundra for a week.

Alright, I'm off. I said GOOD DAY!

4 day week which means I have to get payroll in early. I should be able to accomplish that today. I will be off Friday and all of next week. Will ya miss me? To be honest I am afraid to what I will come back to at home. Will my apt be burned down next? hmm
I seem to be having some trouble keeping the stream going too. Not a good start to a Monday.

Nah, it's too waterlogged to burn.  blankstare.gif

Of course we'll miss ya.  We miss ya already.

I'm looking forward to hearing what your manager says about this latest flood.  Like you said, it's not their fault, but I would hope they'll do something for your trouble.  I think that free week should be extended to a free month.  You guys have had a horrible start to your stay there!

So, it seems it is Monday again. I guess I am looking forward to the short week, but I fear that it will feel like an extremely long week. I rather still be in my bed right now.

I'll miss you while you are gone next week Woo.

well we have a sprinkler system so I was assuming that the one time it is supposed to get water (fire) it wouldn't work. hmm

Yeah we think we should have a month free too. My sister thinks we need to move. She is worried about mold. Unless we go to court and they pay for moving expenses, I just don't have it in me to move. But I might not have too much of a say. My husband is pretty po'd. Depending on how we are treated when we go to talk to them will greatly affect what happens next.

Howdy folks,

Wow, it doesn't seem possible that Friday is July 4th already. no.gif

I have to get the tags renewed on my van and pickup today. I needed to get some fertilizer/weed killer on the grass, so I got that done this morning while there was still a heavy dew. I've got a couple more things to do around here, then by that time it will be 9:00 and the court house will be open so I can go get those tags.

I think I'm going to be stuck doing billing most of the day. I don't like doing billing which is why I get behind, but I gotta get caught up if I'm going to have money to pay bills . . . and I kinda need that.

Nothing worse than a Monday after spending the past 5 days in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, Yuck.

But I'm here, and swamped, have to play catch up at work.

this morning was one of those mornings where I woke up exactly one minute before my alarm was to go off. I guess that equates to a full nights sleep, but still, I hate waking up and having to get up that quickly. hmm.gif

Morning all!  I've got a ton of stuff to do over the next 3 days before we leave for a 2 week vacation up to the cabin, but I haven't got any energy today to do any of it.  I need somebody to give me a good kick in the pants to get me going this morning. hmm

Okay Mz. But you will still need something to wash it down, even if it is water.

Yup. I haven't got them put on yet, but the tags have been obtained.

That is one advantage about driving old, worn out vehicles. New tags and registrations for both the '90 pickup and the '94 van totaled together was only $59.00.

The disadvantage is the repair bills on the old, worn out vehicles.

I forgot to add - $5.00 of that $59.00 was for my ham radio license plate fee so really, they were only $54.00 total.

We used to have all our vehicles due in June. Now our new car is due in September.

I got the stickers put on the van. Why can't someone make a general purpose masking tape that will stick as well as those DMV stickers do?
