I love shows... I have been to NYC a few times, and of course I have seen a few off Broadway here in Boston when the tour. I loved Cats, and Les Miserables! Anyone else an artsy fartsy type like me??
My all time favorite is Phantom of the Opera, I went w/ Kaisha when she was a young teen. And I also loved Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Jesus Christ Superstar, and Rent....oh the list can go on and on.......
Someday I would like to see a Broadway show or two or six. I just can't afford to go see them in NY. Those prices aren't easy on the checkbook. That and no one would go with me.

sure I like some broadway plays. saw lion king this past spring, that was good. Saw cats & while that wasn't my cup of tea, they did do a real good job. I like to see a bit of the smaller theater stuff too.

We couldnt do a show about Uranus without Riggs...that would be like having ice cream without ice or a hamburger without ham...or strawberries without straw.
A Christmas Carol (with Roger Daltrey & with Tim Curry) Aida (with Micky Dolenz) Beauty & The Beast Little Shop of Horrors (revival) Wicked

oh how was the Roger Daltrey Christmas Carol?? I read they were doing that at Madison Square Garden and thought "Woah, go Roger Daltrey..."
JD, you spelled his name right just for me? He was great. The thing that impressed me the most was how he acted like an old man. And by that I mean, underneath that nightgown, you know he has the most fit body ever. But he acted like a hunched over, frail old man. It was pretty cool.
As much as I love Roger, I have to say - Of the 3 different Scrooges I saw in "A Christmas Carol", Tim Curry was the best! His attitude made the character even funnier. No one can do snotty like Tim Curry!

It was really good. And I'm glad I saw the original cast.

Oh, and for non-musicals - I saw "A Few Good Men" starring Tom Hulce. (Before the movie. In fact, I'm told quite a bit changed for the movie version...) I haven't seen it myself.
