I've seen that there are trackers that supposedly tell you who has looked at your profile, but most of them are scams. I don't know if any actually work, with all the security MySpace has, and because MySpace hasn't come out with it's own version of it, I doubt it. And even if there is one out there that actually works, I would bet he doesn't have it.

So, you're likely okay looking at his profile without him knowing. But if you're worried, you could always use a proxy. But I'd have to defer to Web about how exactly you'd do that.

I imagine that if any specific info is input on the user profile, then it may be found......I know myspace has an FAQ and you can probably even contact them to ask....

Hi Ruby.

From what I can tell, the persons page keeps track of how many views it has, but not from who.
There are a couple of different tracking softwares, I think Trakker (or something like that is one), where they can see the city of whoever looked at their profile. Then if they figure out who it is, they can manually enter that persons info to populate the next time they visit, or, if that visitor is already a Trakker user, that info automatically is populated.

But, I think in most cases, if you are using software like that on a myspace page, the page itself will have a link/icon that says "this person is using Trakker-click here to find out more/ get your own trakker".

my daughter has her space set to private and she has a tracker. for months, she kept telling me that someone from a town in texas was hitting her space. as far as i know, it just tracks the town or vicinity. anyhow, just recently, a relation to her birthfather who lives in this particular town in texas sent her a message that her birthfather is trying to get in touch with her...

Thanks for the info, I feel like I am probably safe then! If it tracks the town, we are in the same town... so no biggie! His page made me MAD and I will probably not go back anytime soon. But I am glad that he will not be able to track me!

Make up a fake profile of some sexy woman and then look all you want =) He can't see who actually looked at his page. Just the counter tells how many people have looked at it.

My page is private so no one can view except people who are my friends.
