JR - I didn't watch the game. Maybe that was the problem. I was busy staring off into no man's land. They have been struggling lately on th offensive side of the ball. They just aren't hitting. Can't do much if you don't get the bat on the ball. You would think you would be okay if your pitcher's only give up 2 runs. OUr lineup should, theoretically, be able to win then.
How did CC do?
What do you think of the deal the Cubs made to try and keep up with you guys?

C.C. seemed too amped up and wild, but it was a playoff like atmosphere at the park.
On a night we'd normally get 30,000 fans we had a sellout and everyone was giving the stand up ovation everytime he adjusted his cap.
You're kind of used to having winners fuzz, but I can't tell you how electric Milwaukee is right now. I saw it starting last year and at the moment i think it's a fever pitch.
If you get a chance to read jsonline.com check out some of the stories on CC's first night. The fans are in a frezy. It's so cool. I hate that i"m missing it
They probably will. I wondering who is pitching. Maybe the new, young kid that is filling in while Myers is off in AAA straightening out his head and arm. Tonight would be a good game to beat the crap out of the Cards. We owe them for the last series in St. Louis a few weeks ago.

Ok. That was from the ESPN web site. I hope it's not Moyer. He's sucky. Actually, he's done pretty well, but crap, it seems like I remember watching him pitch for the Cubs when I'd watch them on WGN TWENTY FIVE YEARS AGO!
