I am here, but leaving early to get more bloodwork done today. I am feeling bad again and I think my thyroid level is still wrong. My hair is falling out and oily, my tongue feels swollen,I have gained 7 pounds this week and my shin and hamstring muscles are in constant pain. There are other symptoms too I will spare you all from! Anyway I am not going to wait this time around and hope it will alleviate itself.

Thanks JD. I hate feeling like this. I lead an extremely healthy and active lifestyle and this thryoid thing kicks my butt

I remember when my mom's thyroid whacked out. I remember my dad taking my brother and me aside and saying "I think your mother is losing her mind. If she says something mean or stupid, just let it go because she is really not herself."

He finally got her to go to the doctor and they found her thyroid numbers were bad. It took a couple months of meds adjustment to figure out what she needed and then we had our old mom back. It really effected her personality.

Oh, and . . . howdy.

MZ- about 10 years ago I had been starting to get REAL tired everyday, it was hard to exercise in the mornings and my throat hurt. My doctor could not figure out what was wrong for months. Eventually my thyroid developed a goiter (I had an adam's apple!) and it really hurt. Right away they knew what it was. I have been on meds ever since, I always will be. One day my thyroid will give out and then I can get it removed and just take meds. I look forward to that day. This it works right one day and not the next is hard on me. I really am a very healthy person, but gaining weight like this and being in pain and the hair loss is bad.
