Well, Friday is here. I have to say that I have been occupied all week that I couldn't believe that yesterday was Thursday. I am glad we are almost through with the week. I could use a break. I hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive day.
Work on.

This weekend is probably going to be a "normal" weekend. First one I've had in a while, and last one I'll have for a while. Lots of cleaning and chores on the agenda.
Good Morning everyone, so I was driving to work this morning and this hairy fat guy is walking to his mailbox in a t-shirt and thong.........nah just wanted to make sure you were all awake. It should be a pretty lax day for me (I hope) only two clients on the calendar and we have a lunch meeting at noon. We are having Chili's today.

good! i thought it would NEVER get here! the only downside is having to help the weekly slackers get caught up because they let their work get down to emergencies!
hope everyone has a fast friday!

I'm here too! Gained three more pounds yesterday :( Hopefully I will here something by Monday about my labs.
I went to get my paper in a t shirt and underwear (not a thong) and thought about you this morning Sparky. It was 5:40 am and dark, but I was hoping no one could see me and be offended!
Cottage Camp with the father-in-law. He had a stroke almost five years ago. He lives in an assisted living complex. My wife reserved a cabin at a local campground that is specifically built for people with disabilities. Pretty cool. So, I've got two nights at the cabin and a car show on Sunday afternoon, if it's not raining. She's out for three nights. My brother in law and friends are heading out to a car show/swap meet for the weekend... should be interesting. They are tent camping in the middle of a field at the show grounds. My neighbor is taking off on a canoe trip down the Wisconsin River! That doesn't sound safe. Way tooo much rain.

For some reason the last two nights I've been lying in bed around 2 am or so when ideas have struck me and I had to get up and try them out.
The night before last it was the change to the now playing page, last night it hit me that I could probably put one of my extra computers on the 47" TV and use it to watch NETFLIX and surf the web.
So I got up, and sure enough, the TV had a basic monitor cable. I spent an hour hooking up a wireless computer, finding extension cables for the keyboard and mouse. Now it's set up and so cool. I can check my email and stuff right on the TV. In fact, I'm typing this on the TV. What surprises me most is everything looks really good. I thought being so big it would look real pixelated, but it looks just as good as a regular monitor.
Anyway. I can't go anywhere today because I'm waiting for FEDEX to show up. So you may be seein' a lot of me today. Sorry.
AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES 1. Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them while you chop. 2. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by using the shower. 3. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer. 4. A mousetrap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button. 5. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be afraid to cough. 6. You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tap. **Daily Thought:** SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES. THEY'RE NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

Have a great!
Well at least it wasn't broad daylight and 60 feet to the mailbox...was it? I picture you as the type that slinks across the grass in ninja form tugging on your shirt the whole way.

Last night I realised the car was still outside and we like to shove it in the garage. I went and put my jeans and trainers back on but had my nightdress on too.......hoping none of the neighbours would see me in the dark... ...forgetting that the dim light at the front door has a sensor and bursts brightly into life when it senses motion...(so you can see your keys in the dark etc) then the light round the side came on...ny neighbours floodlight joned in as did our one near the garage....just all as the lady oppposite was gazing outta the upstairs window.
But back to today...I am so glad the weekend is here. Morale is low at work. Our wonderful powers that be ordered a complete new telephony system to replace the wonderful one we got about 4 years ago... We went live with the new on on 1st July.........and about 50% of the people could not receive any calls...the rest of us couldn't work the damn thing........the sound quality is crap.....each call takes longer...(we are not a freephone number)...and we spend more time moving morewindows round our desktop (the phone is done all othrough the computer) and filling in fault forms than we do listening to and helping out customers...Loads of people have been off sick that are never off sick...and of course the people who are always off sick are well...off sick again...
The only upside is looking out of the window and catchng glimpses of our baby seagulls!
On the bright side I sent the kids off to their dad's on the train , went to the libary and then picked up Mark. We went to the pictures to se Mamma Mia - a great, feelgood musical romantic comedy starring Meryl Streep, Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan....they did all their own singing.... I loved it and would go back for more! Then we went for a quick meal at the nearest pub...I had a lovely Kashmiri lamb with rice and Naan Bread and mark had a gorgeous looking salmon
