Well I'm back at work. A bunch of problems arised while we were off. And today my computer is running slow as you know what. I have been here for 45 min now and all I have accomplished is installing the new printer. Err! I can't even get FFR up. I don't have time for this. furious

Um, yep, Monday. Kind of rainy here this morning but I believe we are supposed to have abundant sunshine this afternoon. Frankly, I don't mind the rain right now, we need it and I am inside all day anyway. I am off to do whatever it is I do. Everyone try to have a nice day.

all this chaos must have something to do with the waxing of the moon...

SHE BOSS is off on vacation this week... oh boy, i get to do payroll! THE MAN was having a panic attack about some time and took all the time sheets, including what's already been entered and mixed them up with what hasn't... i'm feeling a postal moment coming on...furious.gif

Oh dear . . . I haven't posted in the daily thread yet.

Its a normal Monday here.

We had to make some decisions on what to do with some invested money. Our bank (where Mrs. Web works) is in a bit of financial chaos right now. They were supposed to be bought out about a year ago but that deal fell through. Then, the mortgage department was involved with an outside mortgage company that totally screwed them over and left them hanging a bunch of bad mortgage loans. I believe they are still in court over that.

They are a publicly traded company who at one point had a stock price of $30+. Now its under $5.00/share.

We all think the bank won't close, but they are prime pickin's for a buyout right now. If that happens, the new buyer might close the smaller branches . . . or who knows what may happen.

Anyway, we were getting a little nervous about our own investments so today, we talked and decided to move some to another bank 60 miles from here (the other local banks are either ran by buttheads or they are not exactly stable themselves). My wife talked to the branch president about it and he said "I don't blame you, you gotta watch out for yourself first in this case". I highly suspect that he doesn't have all his eggs in the same basket right now either.

Thats about the only excitement for my day so far.

I survived training and I like the new excel 2007. bad thing is the whole suite has chagned and I only had time for one training. Hope Word is easy to pick up on!
