that's what I thought Woo. I told web I thought I sounded gurgly.
I've done some searching on the Spacial Audio forum and it appears this may be an issue SAM4 (our broadcast software) has with Vista.
Seems to work fine when I use a new feature called voice tracking, which allows me to essentially pre-record something and play it a song or two later. But the live mic is still screwed up. I'm not gonna mess with that until tonight when no ones listening though.
If worse comes to worse and the mic just won't work because of Vista I can use the voice tracking, it's ALMOST live
They say eventually Vista will be more compatible. It has something to do with drivers not being up to snuff yet.
Indeed. i really like it's style. But it's a pain in the rear to work with. They went overboard with security. Darn operating system won't let me do ANYTHING. Everytime I try to do something as simple as move a file I'm told "You don't have permission to do this"!!!!
If I don't have permission who the hell does? Do I need to call Bill Gates and ask him if it's ok to rename one of my files?!?
Next time I run the broadcast software I'm gonna try running it as an administrator, I've read that makes it more stable for some reason. Stupid Vista.
