Yay, my DSL speed got upgraded here at the office today. I'm running at 1,330K (1.3 megs) instead of 256K. When I was at 256K and had the radio stream on using 96K, it really created a slow down on everything else. I shouldn't even noticed the difference of the stream being on or not now.

Maybe I can actually look at Youtube clips from here now without having to wait for them to totally download first.

Did I mention "Yay!" ??

Morning everyone, it looks like the market should open in the right direction today....of course who knows what it will do by the end. I didn't get to sleep until 12:30 last night making 5:30 show up way too soon. My head was sleepy but my body wasn't, my heart was racing and I felt like I should go out and mow or something. Instead I watched TRU Tv's Most Daring and Black Gold. Good shows I must say.

well that's what I am hoping for. We have never recharged it. But Mr Negative is already thinking the worst as we mentioned paying the thing off. I swear that car knows when we get a bit of money!

Oh, and I'm tuned in! I've got Windows Media Player set on a 60 second buffer.

Oh shoot! And as soon as I typed that, it went out. It doesn't even look like it's buffering, it's just stalled out.

Have you tried I-Tunes Mz?

Not sure if it is stable on a PC but it runs for hours on my mac and hardly ever drops.

I'm having the same problem as Mz with the station dropping, and I'm using the default player on loudcity.  I thought it was just my computer being uncooperative today.  hmm

Yep. So far I've tried:

Listening in the browser by clicking the Listen Live! button.

Listening in the browser and choosing the dial up speed option.

Windows Media Player at default settings.

Windows Media Player with buffer set at 30 seconds.

Windows Media Player with buffer set at 60 seconds.

ITunes with default settings.

ITunes with buffer set to large.

RealPlayer with default settings.


I also posted a message to the Loudcity forum, and they've been mostly useless.

Hello all,

Just checking in to say hi. I don't expect to be around much today.

Sorry you're still having problems MZ, and even sorrier you're not finding any help in the Loudcity forum.

I see Ghost is having a problem too, but I take it no one else is?

I've been tuned in using the Loudcity page for a week now and haven't had a single drop or a single buffering situation. Of course, I'm not listening 24 hours a day, but I'd say it's been 8 hours a day, every day.

So I've got no idea what could be causing such problems for you MZ. I'd say it's got to be on your end, but the fact you're able to tune in other stuff you listen to with no problem kind of blows that out of the water hmm.gif

well I'm glad my boots are a hit!

I'd really like a magarita on the rocks but you know what I've been liking. Bud Light Lime. Still got me a bit at home. My husband doesn't like it though but he doesn't like any of that kind of stuff.
