Anyone gonna go see this yet? Someone I work with went last night and said the movie itsself is great. Even if you are not a comic/batman fan, he said it was just a great movie!


I might wait a couple of weeks, but I do want to see it on the big screen.

We're gonna see it but we have to wait a bit. We want to see it on Imax and it is already sold out due to the continuous 48 hr showing. As of the ride into work the soonest we could see it was like 1am

That's the only reason I want to see it too Darlene.  I read he portrays the best, darkest Joker yet.  I loved him as an actor.  cry

haven't seen it yet but I remember just seeing the first picture of him in character and being freaked out. He did a good job being a creepy Joker. Great actor indeed.

I see about 1 movie every 3 or 4 years in a theater.

This is one I want to see in a theater. I'm really excited about Ledgers character. I was never a fan of his, in fact quite the opposite. But I think he looks positively deranged in this film and it should make for a great edition of Batman!

The first Batman with Christian Bale as Batman, Batman Begins, was a Great movie...totally different in tone and style from the other Batman movies or TV show.  It captured the tone of the original comic...dark. However, the movie was a great stand alone piece of film making...a great message as well.
 
I am looking forward to seeing this latest instalment.  Bale does a great job as Batman and Everything I have seen suggests that Ledger sets the bar awful high for film villains.
