Somethings up with their stats.  The stats page has shown that as the last song for several days as well.

Now when I go to look at the stats it says "Sorry, you are not broadcasting:

aaaaaaaaaaaah, no! I know what it is. At least I think I do.

I was notified in late June that my credit card expiration date was coming up and I needed to change it on LoudCity.

I went to do that but when I did they were going to charge me right away. I was worried we'd be getting double charged, since we were already paid up through July 19'th. So I decided to wait.

But the 19'th came and went and I forgot all about it. So I went to change the info on the site and it says the account is closed. Yet we're still broadcasting. weirdface.gif

At any rate, I'll go update the info and I bet the stats start working again.

ACK!

Now I went to pay (the only way you can pay is via PayPal, or a credit/debit card run THROUGH paypal) and my PayPal account say's it's been LIMITED. cry.gif

I had to answer some questions, and I'm waiting for them to review them. I bet this is all related to the move. My credit cards and banks have been a pain in the a** with this move. Even though I notified them of my new address.

Every time I buy something over $100 my bank tells the merchant we have to call them so they can talk to me and have me verify the account.

I'm getting VERY ANNOYED angered.gif

I'd run into that type of problem many times at work. The credit card statements are mailed directly to the accountant's office to pay, so when I would order something to be shipped to our office, a lot of times there was a big problem because the billing address didn't match the shipping address. Big pain in the neck.

We ended up switching the billing address to here also.

That's what I don't get LS, the address has been changed and they still question it.

I asked the lady at the bank last time and she said it's probably because I use a WI phone number on the account. I never got a number here, since the phone number on my cell works fine and let's my family call me locally if they want to.

I opened up a paypal account to pay for my ownership here and I kept on getting emails, after the initial payment "problem with account" blah blah....what problem??
So now I gotta remember to send ya  a check soon...

a lot of fake scam phishing PayPal emails flood in. You gotta be very careful with them emails. They seem to come in threes for me. then I forward them to paypal.

Yeah you're right Woo.

I probably got an email from them telling me my account had an issue, but I ignore any email that says paypal has an issue because it's usually a phishing email.

At any rate, I emailed them, they said they will review the account and hopefully return it to normal soon.

I bet the only reason we're still on the air is because I haven't shut the stream off since Sunday. If I tured it off now I bet I couldnt' get back on until this is resolved, so I'm NOT turning it off no.gif

Nah. I have to believe they'll fix this by then.

I can't believe Loudcity only uses paypal to process credit cards. Doesn't seem too professional.

I'm hoping they'll have it taken care of by the end of today. They're on the west coast, so they have business hours until 7 PM Central time. That's still almost six hours.

I know. I am only home sometimes. And even at that, I don't have any sound on my computer. When my hard drive went over a year and a half ago, I had to replace it. But I also have to replace/reload all the drivers. And I still haven't done it. Just sitting there reloading things sucks. I have been meaning to do it. Really I have. Plus, you have to remember that I am still on dial up at home, so there isn't really a good way to listen.

I know, I am pathetic and full of excuses. You can just get over it.

Yep. That's me. And nope. I still have my out house. I am saving up for indoor plumbing.

I don't spend enough time in front of the computer when I am at home to justify upgrading. I am lucky if I have it on once a week. Unless it is tax time of course. Between February and the beginning of April I spend the time there. If they want to give it to me for free or the same price I am already paying, then hook me up. There is actually someone else in the office who is still on dial-up as well.

I remember when we first started the station, way back in the black and white days of 2003.

We ran two streams, one for dial up and one for broadband.

JD had one poor soul who tried so hard to use the dial up connection but he got dropped about 50 times a night during the Jazz 101 show (that's when all JD did was a two hour stint of Jazz).

The guy kept trying though. For months and months he was there. We called him our Illinois jumper.
