This is a video of a jam by Lincoln Brewster and band. Lincoln is one of the top Christian artists right now. We play a few of his songs at church. The bassist is Norm Stockton who also does bass clinics and he created a DVD instructional set that I have.
Aw, I was hoping for a big yummy picture of my Sweet brothers!

Hey Web, that was very cool...and you were right...Norm Stockton is an incredible bass player...if he is your influence...any time you want to join the Witness Relocation Band for real, there is a bass job waiting for you.
On the subject of Christian guys rocking too, I have said this before... I think music was mans original form of praise. I think Einstein said math was the language of God because it is in everythihng. I would say Music is the universal language of God...it is in every culture, it is in every religious tradition.
Therefore...if you remember me for no other comment:
Music is the language of God, the language of creation. Universal.
I could never dream of playing that well. I simply don't have the dexterity, accuracy, and speed in my fingers to play like that.
One of the things I like most about Norm is that although he can play like that, he doesn't. He is probably the most tasteful player of anyone I've ever followed. He always seems to have just the right amount of flair for the song style he's playing. Even in his DVD series, he STRESSES the concept of playing in context to the song, and especially NOT overplaying just because you can.
He's got a bit of a SRV vibe to his guitar playing.
