I'm having a very hard time this morning. I actually thought I was ok but as soon as I got to my desk I started to cry.

On top of all our other problems, we discovered that my husband's special fish died. BabyGirl was a sweetheart and would always come and sit in his hand. She was so soft too. She didn't harm anyone. Even if you were trying to net a fish that was going after her she would get all mad at you. When we first got her we didn't think she was gonna make it. They ate her tail but it grew back- twice. It doesn't appear that they killed her. We didn't see any marks on her. If we did I think my husband would have killed all the rest. This has broke my husband's heart and he is breaking mine because he really isn't dealing with this well. He won't even talk about it. He has a habit of shutting off the fish tanks and saying" Bye Babies" but today it was just "Bye Everyone". When I tell him that I am sorry he just shrugs. This is not like him. He has shed tears over a few other fish but I didn't see one this time. it's not good. We practically didn't speak the rest of the night.

I know they're just fish but they are all we have- our babies and now BabyGirl is gone crying.gif

Sorry Woo. I had a favorite fish once, he was a catfish and he used to watch tv with me or he would watch me watch the tv.

I am not sure which is harder, losing a family member (which pets are) or watching someone you care about going through a hard time.  Unfortunately you are going through both Woo.  I am sorry for all the difficulties you are experiencing.  Better days ahead.

It's getting better. He is at least talking to the other fish. He played a little with one of them. We have one we are worried about. It won't be as hard of a hit if she doesn't make it but it certainly isn't gonna help.

lol, no Sparky. Some have quite the personality. We have one, my fish, that will shake his head at you trying to get your attention. You do it back and he will do it again. It's so cute. aww
