Is anyone else having a funky time with the 'new' (starbusrt) & 'nothing new' (shaking head) icons that appear on the topic selection part of the Boards....
Sometimes they change, most times now they don't. I can look at a topic with the new icon all the way through, no one new will post, yet the new icon doesn't go away? sometimes I'll come to the boards & the nothing new icon is up, but there obviously new posts I haven't read yet in the topic.
Is this just my computer or do others seem to have this problem?
Also, On the "Now Playing" screen in the Auto request system, it has showed the same 5 'recently played' songs for the last month, as well as the same 'now playing' song. Also the top 10 requested songs haven't changed in that time either....again, a problem with my comp/browser, or are others having that problem too?
I've had the same problem with the icons on the forum, ever since the switch-over to the multi-catagory style.
It used to happen on occasion before, but usually I could just look at the thread again and it would fix itself.
Now it's almost ALWAYS stuck on the NEW icon. I'll see if I can play around with it at all, perhaps it's because we've got sooooooooo many posts now, it's getting all screwy, but like I said, I only notice it since the switch to categories.
As for the Now Playing page, I'm surprised you're even accessing that. We eliminated it as a main page, the request system now takes you immediately to the "A" page. Did you bookmark the request system on the NOW PLAYING page?
It's still there, but it's completely dead. I haven't bothered keeping it updated because I'm more focused on HOPEFULLY getting our new system up and running at some point (which has a REALLY sharp NOW PLAYING page).
No, the'A' Page does show up, as the main page, but when i click the link to the now playing part (which I went to all the time to see if my request was coming up or if I missed my request as I so often did cuz of the phone. I'd also go to see what was recently played so I could choose my requests better or know about how long it would be before I heard another Huey Lewis song or the like) It just shows that dead page.
now that I know you aren't bothering with it anymore...I guess I'll stop checking for it to be fixed....it was pretty useful though...
very cool, yeah it's not pretty, but it did its job, thanks so much for bringing it back, And after seeing the test page for the new system, I know it'll definitely look better soon....Oh BTW, the icons seem to be working on the MAIN page, but the sub pages are still a no go
OK, Well They work correctly apparently on my home computer, but I get to work & they don't work again....Oh Well, gotta be my comp & a problem with cookies or something
