I just read this:

Here's your (not so) totally useless fact of the day:

The fastest growing nail is on the middle finger. And the nail on the
middle finger of your dominant hand will grow the fastest of all. Why
is not entirely known, but nail growth is related to the length of the
finger, with the longest fingers growing nails the fastest and shortest
the slowest.


But I am surprised and not sure i believe it. I figured it would be the pinky nails because they are used the least so you don't break them much. My pinky nails always look like Coke nails unless I trim them hmm

Actually, mine is the middle finger on my nondominant hand. And my entire nondominant hand seems to grow faster than my dominant hand.

I have always been a little backwards.

It's my non-dominant hand middle finger too, Fuzzy. Longest still tend to be my pinky fingers because I break them the least.

Of ALL the people you could have directed that comment to on the forum why did you choose me?

Am I not the one who took a chance on a wanna-be DJ that had been turned down by every station in town?

Am I not the one who had to replace my keyboards on a weekly basis due to beer damage but STILL stuck with you?

speaking of JD...are you still thinking of a part time job?


I had a guy asking me about DJ'ing jobs for parties a couple days ago....he said he has one guy in WI but none in your area. He said that some of the parties pay a ton...a couple grand a night if its rich SOB's

So true JR. My daughter was upset that I sent her to her room once. She has Directv, playstation, phone, dvd and vcr player, gameboy. And she really thought it was punishment.

You DID offer to pay for it, and at the time it was an expensive keyboard because it was wireless. They were selling for $40 - $50 back then.

But if you'll recall I told you at the time that I'd rather you didn't pay for it because the joy I'd get from bringing it up again and again for years in the future would be much more valuable to me.

I have to say, I've been getting my moneys worth nod.gif
