Modern Toilet is a restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan with a modern decor and a full-on toilet theme. All 100 seats in the crowded diner are made from toilet bowls, not chairs. . Sink faucets and gender-coded "WC" signs appear throughout the three-storey facility, one of 12 in an island-wide chain of eateries. Would you like to taste the ice-cream shaped like faeces? Probably not the best place to bring a child in potty training...
"Tell me, does it move you, Does it soothe you, Does it fill your heart and soul with the roots of rock & roll? When you can't get through it you can listen to it with a 'na na na na', Well I've been there before" -"Been There Before" by Hanson
I think we be skipping that place. My husband yells at everyone who brings stuff in the bathroom. I'm not even sure he can handle someone having a cup of coffee on the counter when they are getting ready

I think it's a cool idea as long as they don't really take the theme over to the food. I'm not a big fan of shaped food as it is. And I pity anyone drinking Mt. Dew in a place like that. Or lemonade.
Might be an amusing place to walk through, but I'm thinking I wouldn't want to eat there. Interestingly enough, I read someplace about a similar restaurant that was closed by the health department within a month or so of opening. Why, you may ask? Not enough working bathrooms.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
I would eat there just because I think the food must be AMAZING.
They've got to be pretty confident their food is good to open a restaurant with that theme right? Otherwise they're opening themselves up to a lot of easy jokes and interesting comments from unhappy customers.
