I havent heard a whole lot from her, the last time I talked to her it was all I could do to keep from crying until I hung up. She sounded so bad, like an old woman...her voice was shaking and couldnt for thoughts well. I sent a few texts to her boyfriend and havent got any replies so I took that as to buzz off. Kas is/was a quick witted person, always had something smart to say and she couldnt even ask a simple question without struggling. She was going into a rehabilitation center at that time so hopefully the next time I hear from her she is doing better. The Dr's dont think her vision will come back at this point...and they rest of the damage to her brain is hopefully going to rebuild itself. The strokes she was having werent blood clots like an old person has they are Hemorrhagic stroke It results from a weakened vessel that ruptures and bleeds into the surrounding brain. The blood accumulates and compresses the surrounding brain tissue. All of this came from a sinus infection

well I certainly hope rehab helps her get better.

This is another subject really, but I was thinking about it last night too.

I wonder what ever happened to MN Mel? She was never a regular around here, but she always came back every couple months to say hello and catch up. I don't think I've seen her stop on in well over a year now.

Aww I'm sorry to hear that. Well, I hope ALL our past members are doing alright.

I'm still super happy that folks like CSCase, MadMema, Pambo and others have come back after some fairly lengthy absences.

Maybe eventually a few of the others will too!
