Ewwww, sorry to hear that. Hopefully he'll be home soon.

Well, I don't know. Now that I'm on the spot I'm having trouble coming up with a topic. hmm.gif

You're a fan of the whole ghost thing, does Michigan have any notorious haunts? Old abandoned Sanitariums or anything like that?

Woo is here too! It's a Paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaartay!

Ok Ghost, here's one. How far is Dice Road from you?

On the Dice Road - One Lane Bridge, a warlock who is said to have hung three girls from the bridge after they stepped on his wife's grave, which is in his front yard near the bridge. Late at night at the bridge you can hear male and female voices, the female voices are screams. Visions of objects moving and things such as ropes being tossed over the side rail, which is where the girls were actually hung. A white care is often said to be following people when they are driving down the road. Waves of smoke are also seen while driving away. There is also a graveyard down the street.

You ever been near there? Were you aware of this story?

Hmm, I'm not really sure what all is supposed to be haunted in my state, but right here in Saginaw we have a whole nature area that's supposedly haunted.  It used to be an Indian burial ground, got flooded by the river a long time ago, then the city hauled in a bunch of fill, built it up, and turned it into a nature area complete with walking trails.  I've been a few times, and there is a strange feeling whenever I walk the trails.  I don't like to be there too early in the morning or too late in the evenings.

Just down the road from this, there is an old farm house.  There have been at least 8 different families live there during the past 10 years; they claim windows break out on their own, they supposedly see some kind of black goo dripping from the interior walls, they hear voices and see apparitions, and there are claims of some other really crazy stuff going on there.

Yeah, I was gonna post about this one.  Dice Rd. is probably about 10-12 miles from me.  I know the area, have driven it at night, and let me tell ya.....it is CREEPY!!!  I've seen the smoke, only I thought it was fog, but it didn't last like fog does.

Where'd you get that from??

Yup, in fact it's the ONLY one that comes up for your area. It says it was included in the book Haunted Michigan.

That's totally cool because it's one you can check out yourself anytime.  No need to break into some shuttered old house.

I found it on this website...

http://theshadowlands.net/places/michigan.htm

Before I moved here I had an opportunity to work as a supervisor for the Marquette University school system.  It's notoriously haunted in about seven different places and unfortunately as low man on the totum pole I would have had to take the third shift supervisor position.

It was actually part of my decision NOT to take it at the time.  Some of the stories are just too creepy.  The worst is a little boy that drowned in the pool and is seen walking around the area.

Nothing for pottstown, but there was a pottsville cemetary where candelight can be seen hovering above an open grave the night before burials.

Warminster has several.

Craven Hall has a soldier that bangs on windows late at night as if trying to escape.  It's believed he was buried on the grounds.

The Hartsville Inn.  Tunnels from the underground railroad are full of ghost sightings.

Longstreth Elementary is  supposedly haunted and so is Mike's York Street Bar & Grill (formerly the Warminster Inn)  In 1791 a woman name Penelope was raped and murdered and if you're alone in the attic at midnight the lights will go out and her ghost will circle the building.

There was more, but for some reason the site doesn't allow cut n' paste.

I knew Warminster was full of them. Craven Hall was around the corner from the house.

I gotta go! Escape may have been granted. Night all.

What's the story from your high school Woo?

Web, there were a bunch from Kearney, too many to type, so I took a screenshot.
