Fuzzy. Rollins is shooting his mouth off. I can't imagine this is gonna do much for his popularity
Rollins says Phillies fans are 'frontrunners'
Star shortstop Jimmy Rollins called Phillies fans "front-runners" during a taping of Fox Sports' "Best Damn Sports Show Period," the Philadelphia Daily News reported Thursday.
"There are times," he said. "I might catch some flak for saying this, but, you know, they're front-runners. When you're doing good, they're on your side. When you're doing bad, they're completely against you."
Rollins later gave a shout-out to teammate Ryan Howard's hometown of St. Louis.
"For example, Ryan is from St. Louis and St. Louis, it seems like they support their team, they're out there and encouraging. In Philly, can't be no punk."
I saw something about it briefly this morning. There are fans in every park that do that. I am not going to say that Philly fans aren't passionate. If you have no passion for your teams, you shouldn't be watching. We hope the team wins just as much as the team hopes to win. I will say that if you are struggling, you will hear it. We boo our team, our individuals, coaches and even management. Let him yap. He is having a rough year. It hasn't been right since he went on thew DL in April and missed a month.

He has been aroung long enough to know that about Philly fans. He came up through the organization. I didn't think he was getting booed though. Could be I haven't be paying attention.
I have tickets for the "little Philles" as I call them, on Sunday. It is our Double A team. Great seats, great price, fireworks after the game and hopefully a Phillies win. And I think it is dollar dog day. Hot dogs are just $1 each.
