Morning Rich...just sittin here waiting for Tropical Storm (Hurricane) Fay to hit us.....we've got a few hours!

I'm here. My office stinks a bit. It seems no one bothered to check the mouse trap under my cabinet while I was gone.

I have a lot to do. I am behind from having Friday off and having the stupid phones yesterday. I told my husband that I need NOT to have the phones today. I don't care if I have to move to the office as long as I don't have the phones. But i see my supervisor came to work today so I might be just at my desk today.

Looks like it's skirting a bit to the east, so that'll save Orlando as we'll then be on the western (a bit calmer) side of the storm!

Morning all. Another day, another ten cents. Although the work day just started, I can't wait until it is finished. The weather has been nice this month. I hope it definitely holds out and continues for the next two weeks.

We're back to school. It will take a few days to get back in the routine of the school schedule. No more daycare payments! Yay!

Hartz you magnificent Bas... uh, you WONDERFUL WOMAN! Your idea worked like a charm last night! A solid 8 hours of sleep!!!! WOO HOO!!!! Not sure why, but I didn't even wake up at all during the night. I went to bed by about 1 AM and next thing I know it's 8:30

It sure makes a difference in how you feel. I'm feelin' like a shiny penny again today!

I think it also helped that I exercised twice yesterday. I didn't do a lot, but it still helped tire me out.

Everybody have a WONDERFUL day! That IS an order!

Morning, all. I've had a tough time getting moving this morning but finally got here. Hopefully things will get a little easier as the day progresses. We will see.

I don't think my parents ever took 1st day of school pictures. My family isn't all that big on sentiment. I think it's a nice tradition though.

I don't think we had 1st day of school pics every year, but I do remember the first day of Kindergarten pics.

Speaking of tradition things, a lady we know told us what she did with her son. I thought it was kind of neat and wish we would have done it . . . every Christmas starting as an infant, she'd trace her son's hand on a stiff piece of cardboard. She'd cut it out and write the year on it, then hang it on the tree as an ornament. She said he really enjoyed that at Christmas time when they would get all the cutouts out and hung up on the tree. Even in his later high school years, he'd still compare his hand size with the years before and thought it was really cool.

I like that idea Web!

My parents bought one of those big birthday candles that had the numbers 1 - 18 on them, starting at the top.

Every year during my birthday party they'd light it and let it melt down to the next year. I really liked that, but I was disappointed because for some reason I thought when it got down to the last few years there would be a surprised inside, and there wasn't

I'm glad it's missing you SG, but it looks like it's going to miss us too now.    Originally they said FRI & SAT would be good, drenching rains here but from the latest projection it looks as if it's purposely swerving to miss us!
