lol, I have only squares as the name of the thread!
Not much going on. I didn't feel well last night. I felt like I was in a haze and got really tired. Today I am still tired but I feel ok.

That's a lot of symbols for the word Wednesday, I hope I never come back Chinese in another life, it looks too complicated to learn.

Gosh Ray, too early for that! Emily did not go to bed til 11:30! I am DRAGGING! She loved school and had a great first day.

today was the first day of school for our kids. hopefully jacob has a better year. isaac started kindergarten. i drove around the block twice before taking him in... but now the deed is done and he's in "big school" now... bittersweet morning.

I skipped over it at first because I really don't like anything Chinese other than their food.  I figured this was an Olympic thread.

The only reason I did click on it was to get rid of the new icon and then low and behold, it turned out to be the daily thread.

Not much going on here today.  I had a bunch of weird dreams and fell back into my late sleep patter.  Not falling asleep until 4 AM and getting up at 10:30 :(

The only dream I remember was the last one and it was a doozy.  I was driving somewhere with my Dad (good to see him again) and we stopped at a gas station.  I decided I needed to use the bathroom so I want to the mens room and there were maybe 6 stalls, the last one at the far end being one of those bigger handicapped stalls.

I could see that someone was in the fifth stall, next to the handicapped stall, and somehow knew from the ankles and shoes it was a black WOMAN.  I wanted to double check the door sign to make sure it was the mens room but I had to go really bad so I just made a beeline for the last stall (the handicapped one)

Once I'm in there this woman starts reaching under the stall and grabbing at my leg.  I asked why she kept doing that and she starts screaming things out like "Leave me alone", "Stop Touching Me", "Help"

I come out of the stall and she's out of hers backing her way out of the bathroom continuing to scream.  It becomes aparrant to me that she's trying to set me up as having attacked her or something, so she could get a nice lawsuit settlement.

This gets me angry and i start yellng back at her to shut up and get a job instead of trying to take advantage of people, but she just kept yelling louder hoping someone would come running.

Then I woke up.



Oh well.  The only thing I can think of is my mind was thinking about how strange people are.  I'm dealing with a LOT of very strange and aggrevating people lately.

This morning my first email from somoene confirmed it again.  People are generally nuts.

Yeah, and because I woke up immediately after it I woke up kind of tense and annoyed.

In the dream I recall that when she first started screaming at me I really worried that maybe I was in the wrong bathroom.

I know I have seen "Mean People Suck" items. But I want to cover more than just mean people. We must include the jerks, the rude, the dumbasses and annoying people all together as one group.

I think it's kinda cruel. Here have a look but you can't go there. It's like window shopping. I detest window shopping- lol

I don't like to call people stupid, I really don't. I think it's actually one of the meaner things you can call a person. But I gotta tell you, I'm running into a whole lotta stupid out here.

I've been listing a few things on Craigs list and I'm just shocked at how people can't communicate clearly.

I was telling Web last night that I practically beg for these people to give me a time-frame of when they'll be out to look at something and they just can't get any more specific than "I'll be there before six tomorrow" or worse yet just "I'll be there tomorrow"

Like I'm going to sit here on my hands all day waiting for them? The other day I ran out for 10 minutes and sure enough I missed some guy. He drove 20 miles to get here, then didn't even wait a couple minutes for me to get back. In hindsight I wish I would have put a sign on the door saying I'd be back in 10, but the situation would have been avoided if he'd given me an answer on one of the THREE emails I've sent asking him to specify a time he'd arrive.

Now today, I've had this truly not so bright woman who's been "arranging" to pick something up for ten days now. Every day I get these incoherent emails saying she's trying to arrange picking them up, would I consider delivering them, blah blah blah.

Finally yesterday at noon she emails and says she'll be here tomorrrow (today) during the day, before six. (gee, thanks for narrowing it down like that).

First email in this morning says this...

I had someone come by last night to see if we could go ahead and pick up the 2 cabinets and you wouldn't come to the door and the lights were on then someone cut them off. What is your phone number?

She's either flat out lying (which I suspect she is) or whoever she sent was too dumb to read an address properly. Because they weren't at MY door.

Besides that, why would you send somebody the day before you said you were coming, apparently AFTER DARK, and without notice?!?

How did we manage to find so many decent, intelligent people to fill this forum?

Just to finish my rant.

So after ten days, I finally put my "too nice of a guy" face aside and send her a pretty pointed email.

I say the stuff about how it couldn't have been my address, although even if it were she shouldn't stop by unexpected or she runs the risk I won't be here.

I give her my address again, for the THIRD TIME, and I say "Look, we've been dealing with this for ten days now, I can't wait any longer, if you can get here fine, but I'm re-listing it today and will sell it to the first person to show up."

Well, AMAZINGLY, I get the first truly coherent and direct email back from her. Her husband is on his way at 12:30 today to come down and pick it up.
