Spousal (Ex) Bash Thread

My wife is on an extended 'vacation' in Mexico while the riverside county DA looks for her. She's writing bad checks and I get the call. Without my wife's signature, I cannot close the account. GRRRRRR

My Ex is wining and dining some 28 year old whack job, and she's calling me for advice!! frustrated.gif

And he is half owner of the house I live in.... he moved out to go live at "mommy's" and can't give me a dime!!!

My brother in law's ex keeps going to Germany to visit the guy she left him for. And they have joint custody, but because she's never home, he has the kids all the time, but still has to pay child support.

The divorce was really a shock to him, and he's not handling the whole thing well as it is. His girls (11 and 14 now I think?) are looking after him better than I could expect any kids of that age to do.

my atty told me to document the leaving. tell your brother to do the same thing. he can take her to small claims court to get the money back. (or go thru atty, but that is more expensive)

oooh, tell him to call judge judy. she will wipe up the floor with her and charge her back child support.

My ex cheated on my repeatedly. Said, "Oh great. Now you'll be a pumpkin belly" when I told him I was pregnant. Reminded me that I needed to "lose that weight" after the baby was born. Kicked me out of the house when I told him I wasn't going to move to my parent's home to have the baby. Threatened to kidnap the baby after she was born ('cept he didn't know where I was). Then...signed away his parental rights so he didn't have to pay child support.

Um....

Don't get me started... booze, drugs, Sasquatches, lies, bipolar disorder, selfishness, incomelessness, ingratitude, insensitivity... I could rant for days.

He's still too in love with her with to do anything like that.  That's a big part of the problem.  He was crushed when she left, and she's just taking every advantage of his heartbreak.

I'm not the forgiving type so I don't understand the "pining" for the person that causes all that pain. They can shove it...sideways.

I'd think it would be different if she actually cheated on him, but she didn't.  In fact, she waited months I think to actually go out with the other guy after they seperated.  I don't think she's doing this vindictively, she's just acting like an irresponsible teenager.

I guess I lucked out in the not feeling heartbreak over the leaving thing. It was more or less a relief. The first time we split up, I was shocked and my feelings were hurt. The second time I couldn't change the locks on the door fast enough.

Something I'm not sure if I ever mentioned to everyone here... the second time we split up was after my wuzband tried to kill himself. That event right there shut off any warm feelings I had left for him. All I could see from then on was the crazy and I wanted it away from me before it took me out too.

That's about the point I'm at right now.  Shove it sideways buddy; I've had enough!!

This sounds a lot like my Ex's exwife, when I was with him, his EX wife never wanted their daughter and he paid big bucks for child support!!

I fail to understand people who stop caring about their own kids.

Seems like it was a tough day in here.

This is another reason it is good not to be attached to anyone or anything.
