They got no worries. The Mets were just hot. It happens. We handled St. Louis all year, we can play with the big boys.

I never jumped off the band wagon.

Gagne tried to push me.  A reliever with a 6.72 ERA Yikes.

But I have suffered through alot of losing baseball.  While you have been shopping your allegiance to the Whitesox, etc....I never left.

That may be true, but in my limited time on the bandwagon I've given them FAR more finanical AND moral support.

If everyone supported em' at the level you do they'd be playing in another city by now.  hmm.gif

well, we are all supporting them every time we make a purchase with the increased 6 county sales tax....so I believe we have both supported them.  You did have season tickets for a year.  I know you are more a baseball purist than I.  However,  you didnt start financially supporting them till they started winning.

Actually that's not true. I had season tickets in 2001, which was yet another losing year.

I bought 12 pairs of tickets on the club level in 2002, which if I remember correctly was the year they lost almost 100 games.

But let's not argue semantics. We both support the team in our own way. I gotta go watch Barrack Obama on Bill O'Reilly now.
