I think for the first time in decades, I am actually passing on Walking in Memphis by cher. However, when I saw she dropped out of the most requested spot, I had to do it. I still hope that her publicist will see that she is number one and let her make a guest appearance on the ole FFR.
No offense to you CP, and I don't mind hearing Chers version. But for my taste Cher's version isn't even close to the soulful way that Marc Cohn sings it.
If I'm gonna hear a Cher song there's about 20 of them that I'd prefer first.
