I thought the weekend was supposed to be 2 days long? It felt like 5 hours.
Brian starts his new job today! I really hope he likes it! It's helping out with some contractors and subcontractors on a specific job, so it could be temporary. But hopefully they'll keep him on for the next job, and the one after that, etc.
Morning MZ- glad to hear about Brian- good luck with that!
Also glad my Bears won! Sorry.
Got my bathroom painted- what a chore! I painted the ceiling, crown molding, both door frames and the walls. I need to paint the doors, but ran out of paint. The walls look great. They were purple, now they are sea blue.
I woke up with a headache. I hate that. So I didn't get up right away and by the time I should have been getting out of the shower, I was just getting in. I then had about 10 min to get ready after that.
Yesterday I finally got my husband to hook up the vcr/dvd player. When then watched the last 2 episodes from last season of Bones and House. We still have 3 other shows to get caught up on from last season.

Yep. I double-checked and it is indeed Monday. The weekend does goes by entirely too fast. We had rain later Friday night all through Saturday evening fom the leftovers of Hanna. I am sure the grass will grow a foot or so this week. It is going to be nice weather. But if the world is still scheduled to end on Thursday, I won't worry about it.
Other than that, let's see what else the day will bring. I didn't particularly care for the beginning of the day so far.

I had a cruddy night, but I feel ok. I was tired and had a slight headache last night so I went to bed a little early. I think I slept for about 1/2 hr or so and woke up with a pounding headache. I got up and took some Excedrin and then sat up a while waiting for them to work. They started working on the headache, but then I had Excedrin jitters all night and didn't sleep well at all.
Nothing major planned for me today unless something new comes in. Got some bills to pay and normal routine stuff.
Oh, yeah, Fuzzy mentioned rain. We have a 90% chance of rain today (its raining now) and its 46 degrees. I turned the heat on in the van this morning for the first time this season.
Excedrin = caffeine. Not good when you are trying to sleep. The best thing I can do for a really bad headache is try to sleep it off. I am glad I am not the only one going through a headache. I woke up with a slight one this morning. I hope it rectifies itself.

I accidentally got up an hour early. The sad thing is AC let me do it! I thought the clock said 5:30 but it was only 4:30. Of course I didn't realize this until I was all ready for work. It's gonna be a long Monday.

Oh man, I hate when I do that! I dream that my alarm goes off, I get up and get ready, and I'm only looking at the minute hand, not the hour. Usually about the time I'm ready to walk downstairs all dressed and ready to go, I notice the clock says 2 and not 6...
Hi all! Took my dad the doctor this morning; they checked his blood pressure which was running extremely high (he takes blood pressure pills), checked his blood levels again (still too thick), so they gave him a shot of a blood thinner and they want him coming back every day for the next 2 weeks to test his blood. His headache finally went away after they gave him the injection. He now looks a little bit better, but he says he wants to stay with me again tonight. I think this episode scared him (and worried me), so I'm glad he wants to stay. Hopefully they can get his blood levels back to where they should be and keep them there.
Hi all! I woke up at 4AM to thunder. Did manage to get back to sleep until my alarm at 6, but then had no interest in getting out of the bed. In retrospect, I probably should have stayed there. Ended up leaving the house a half hour late... which wouldn't have been so bad but there was a 6 car pile up about 3 miles from where I got on the highway. DANG... it was so backed up I had gas it to get off at the next exit down that was only 1/2 mile away!!! Then all the side streets were backed up from highway overflow. Basically, it took me over an hour to get to the office from home... that normally takes me about 15 minutes.
Got here just in time for my second pointless meeting of the day! YAY... the first one was a conference call while I was driving in.
This day has GOT to improve.

Initially I suspected the thunder was nothing more than the chicken burrito soaked in Cholua that I had for dinner speaking harshly to me... but I was wrong. It was in fact a HUGE thunderstorm. Alas, about 10 minutes later the burrito DID have a few obscenities to shout at me....

hmm... I, unlike my mother and my son, was asleep in a benedryl induced coma at 4:00 in the morning :) thanks mom, and you are the best jelly bread maker, I apparently don't do it right and get uhhhhhhhed. I did, however, wake up with my eyelid the size of a baseball. Fun stuff let me tell you. I then walked into work to people asking me if I got clocked in the eye or if I have "the pink eye" Other than that I've been laughing...a lot about a whole lot of nothing because I have lost my mind... HAPPY MONDAY!!
