Goodbye summer fun
The long shadows have begun
Explosions of color in the trees
As Autumn inhabits all the leaves


Ok, that's as far as I got. Who wants to help finish this fall poem?

I hope all have a great day doing whatever brings a smile to your face.

Soccer doubleheader and the wife's birthday so we have a busy day for us. I'm thinking about having the team sing Happy Birthday. That would embarass her but she needs that now and again.

I finally made it here.  I've been playing over on Facebook most of the afternoon in between loads of laundry.  Oh I also cleaned house today too.  It was too nice of a day to spend it inside, but things had to be done, and I was the only one home to do 'em.  hmm

My oldest girl brought home The Rolling Stones movie "Shine A Light", so I'll probably watch it yet tonight before going to sleep.  smile
