I had a good day. I worked for half a day and took off and golfed in the afternoon. I've only played about 6 times this year so I didn't expect much. I hoped to shoot in the low 90's and was headed that direction when I walked up to 18. It's a par 5 466 yards slightly up hill but I had a wind at my back. I hit my driver about 240 yards and was about 220 from the green. I hit a nearly perfect 5 wood that landed in front of the green and then rolled to the back side about a foot off the green. The pin was on the top and about 20 feet away. It looked like a fairly straight putt with a slight break to the left. I lined it up and knocked it in as it caught the left side of the hole and dropped for an eagle 3 and a round of 88. Needless to say it was a great way to finish. I'm now chomping at the bit to get on the course again. The last time I had an eagle I was 16! 33 years ago. I hope I don't wait that long to do it again.
