Later tongiht the station will go off the air and stay off all day Friday.
The project I like to call "Jeremy's Excellent Adventure" (or if you prefer: "Jeremy's Experiment 'O' Love") will be coming to an end sometime between Saturday morning and Tuesday morning, as I'll be heading back to Wisconsin.
As I said, I'm not sure when I'm actually leaving town, it'll depend on several things, but I need to get everything packed up and ready to roll, so Friday will be used for disassembling the station computer and boxing up everything that's making the move with me.
JD will be taking over the stream at some point, so you'll have the option of listening to his collection again, or if you prefer be sure to bring in some CD's with you Friday and early next week. I hope to have the station back on the air no later than Thursday, possibly quite a bit earlier.
That is all.
PS. I'm excited to get back home to family and familiar surroundings, but once you put aside the hot and humid summer months North Carolina ROCKS. When I factor in the low cost of living I think it's got to be one of the nicest places in the country to live. I think this is where I'll want to settle down some day when I'm old and wrinkly
Be safe! Hopefully by the time you get all settled in I will have my laptop and we can move forward with the show. (As long as Mom-in-law doesn't become an Indian-giver. She is not happy with the new laptop and Vista)

You're not that out of the loop. I have been keeping my plans to myself until the final weekend. For the last two months I've been selling my furniture and stuff, but didn't want to say anything until I was 100% sure I was actually heading back.
SG, Dream on buddy! It's 2007 all over again. The Met's will join the Yankees in watching the playoffs from their couches this year
I had no idea you were going home so soon. I thought you were hanging around until May. Nonetheless, have a safe journey back. I am sure it will feel good to be home and that JD and Dylan will once again be able to see your bright and shiny face.
You just couldn't take the whole not watching baseball and football thing.

Missing Packer games is harder than I thought, that's for sure!
Considering how things went out here, there was no real reason to stick it out until May. Time to start moving my life forward again. The quicker I get back to Wisconsin the quicker that can happen.
With Jenn and I not working out there was absolutely zero chance I'd stay here long term, so I figure why put off the inevitable.
I'll begin streaming tonight so as to remain on the air. If you enjoy jazz, blues, soul, punk, ska, goth, new wave, and deeper cut classic rock, you might enjoy the station for the next few days.

Hey Riggs, travel safe! I'm sure you can't wait to get back home, and I hope your trip is without obstacles and another delightful journey!
JD, how fun to have you doing some extra DJing! I'll have to break tradition though and not have a glass of wine during all your shows...vino for breakfast is a little over the top.
