I know you are a big Kelly Clarkson fan so wondered if you caught her on SNL this past weekend. She has really turned it up in the looks department. She now has blond hair and has slimmed down and toned up - the best I have seen her look. She did a rocking performance of "Since U Been Gone" and was also in a really funny skit about the subway where she belted out "One Moment in Time" acapella.
I got a portion of SNL and I was shocked. Kelly is really getting some help in the looks department and isn't as annoying to watch or listen too. Not sure if those two are related or not but I didn't immediately switch channels when I heard/saw her.
I did see it, and I was so excited about it. After watching her development on TV through a whole season it just feels like watching someone you actually know develop and mature as an artist.
I think she looks great, and she sang great. She was also very good in that skit.
I was going to start a thread on this, one thing I would hope you guys that are kind of anti-idol would be able to admit to.
Isn't it nice that America has ROUTINELY chosen quality PEOPLE. I mean, every year there's a bunch of people in the final 12 that you can just tell think they're better than everyone, the type of people that would turn into difficult stars. But America consistantly chooses really nice people with quality voices. Not a jerk in the bunch.
