I'm quite certain my neighbors think I'm nuts. It's a good thing I'm moving. I was screaming for joy when Braun hit that two run homer to put us up 3 - 1. There was a little dancing too. I'm REALLY glad no one was here to see THAT!

Even if we don't go far, I'm just happy to FINALLY make the playoffs after 26 years of heartbreak.

The thing that struck me the most watching the post game interviews with fans is how many young Brewer fans 30 and under have no memory of a winning club.

On this day, tens of thousands of new die-hard baseball fans were born.  Just like 1982 turned me from a casual fan into a die hard fan of baseball, people all over Wisconsin are experiencing that tonight.

I think in a lot of towns they just don't understand how special it is, because they're forturnate enough to be in the playoffs every four or five years.  There's only a handful of towns that have had to endure nearly three decades without a post-season game.

Now Milwaukee won't be on that list anymore clap.gif
