Brian's all better now. Well, he's still all stuffed up and coughing, but he has been since the whole sore throat and fever day. I really think he just slept on his back and swallowed a ton of drainage and it upset his stomach. The day of sleep will likely help to finally kick that cold anyway.
Today, I'm jonesing for a donut. A nice soft chewy yeast glazed donut.
Ex boyfriend just texted me that he was going to the house (the one we own) to get his stuff today... I said ok. He just called me flipping out cuz he has an 85 pickup truck that he left in the driveway and I have the keys in my handbag here at work.
Oh well.... he doesn't have much stuff anyway, it should fit in his trunk and backseat, I took it all.... and it was mine when we met, most of it. He really came into the relationship w/ the clothes on his back and stuff he's accumulated along the way, (which is not much)!
Thanks for pointing that out, the stress levels have come way down now that I have my own apartment..... I have yet to find a buyer for the house I owned w/ him, however I was making the mortgage payments on my own w/o any $$ from him, and I got to the point where I was too tired and overwhelmed by it all.
Mz, I had a doctor tell me once that we produce, on average, a QUART of that drainage each day, and it goes way higher than that when we are ill. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Happy Friday Everyone!

Fuzzy, I don't like the Phillies! They're treating us like their ugly step-sisters!
Actually, the Brewers are showing most of their big weaknesses already in this series. Stike outs galore, no clutch hitting and poor defense. Sometimes I wonder how we got to the playoffs. OH WAIT, that's right, we went 14 - 1 against the last place Pirates. That explains it.
As much as watching the Brewers lose hurts, the pain is GREATLY reduced watching the Cubs get SHELLED two days in a row AT HOME!!!!
Now they go to LA where their home-run power is greatly reduced and face the very real possibility of being swept in the first round for the second straight year!
I wish I would have taped the game so next year when their obnoxious fans are getting on my nerves I could go back and look at all their faces from last night. CLASSIC!
I know you don't like my Phillies. It's okay. I can accept it. But it was the Brewers lack of defense that won the Phillies game one. In game two the Phillies had a ton of chances to blow the game wide open and didn't convert. That concerns me. I am glad that CC imploded last night. He wasn't pitching badly, he was just a bit off his spots. I think it was a lot to ask him to pitch the last two weeks like he did. You should call the Brewers and tell them to just let the Phillies put them out of their misery Saturday night.
I rather enjoy the Cubs getting their butts handed to them. I knew you would enjoy it even more than me.
Guess it was a good thing you never ponied something up for a bet. No Tastykakes for you!

I see it more as if the sure handed Cameron make the play in centerfield, then you may have had the chance. Weeks defense sucks. And everyone knows it. You don't expect Cameron to take a poor route to the ball and end up dropping it.
It's okay. We'll take it.

Good day all. Finally up and around. It's another WFH day for me. So far it's starting out pretty good. Hopefully it will stay good.
Darlene... GOOD FOR YOU! I firmly believe that when it is time to end a relationship, one should walk away with what is theirs. Then again, I'm the one who brought most of the assets into my relationship too. I had no problem giving Kev-o his stuff when he left, in fact I insisted on it. He had a problem taking it with him.
Mz... It's good to hear Brian is feeling better.

ah, indeed the Friday late afternoon at work panic squad is in full force. Same idiots with the same problems every friggin friday late afternoon.
The root of the problem lies in the fact that:
1. you can't just dump and run without providing adequate explanation as to what it is you want.
2. If the BOM is wrong, the job is done right. It was you who made the BOM and should have double-checked your specs before dropping the order off.
3. Its you who I hear talking the most in the isles everyday. Meanwhile, something is exploding into an issue on your desk. did you forget about it? ignore it, hoping it would go away?
4. You made a promise to a client before figuring out if that promise could be kept. You don't know, and you didn't do the legwork to figure it out.
5. You have the audacity to approach people in a panic at 4:45 on a friday afternoon. time and time again. It gets old, and we whom you approach resent your idiocy. At this point, its a YOU problem. We're going home to start our weekends. good luck, dummy.

Hey. I got the 4:30 "I'm writing up some documentation on troubleshooting an issue that hasn't happened but might someday. Tell me everything you know about ______".
