My ISP (Charter Communications) called me yesterday and said I've been upgraded to 5 megs with no change in cost. They said I should've been at this speed for the past few months, yet I don't notice that being true. Is there some place on my computer that I can look to see what my connection speed is? Charter told me if I'm not receiving 5 megs, I need to call their tech support and they can check it out.
Down on the lower right side of my task bar, I have 2 little computers showing, and when I mouse over them, it says: Speed :100.0 Mbps.
I'm not tech savvy enough to know where to look for my true connection speed, and could use a little help with this. Thanks.
So that's the true reason why you can't sleep at night.....you're lying awake all night thinking of all the different ways to torture me! A little water doesn't bother me, but if you really want to torture me, the worst form you could dish out would be to permanently block me from the forum and LoudCity, hahaha.
So how are things going now that you're back home? Getting settled in a little bit? Liking the cool temps?? Bet your family was really happy to see you!!
Yeah. It's going better than expected. I've been staying really busy, which is nice. Getting a little break now as the plumbers are here to replace all the pipes in my Mom's house. My only duty at the moment is to babysit the three dogs so they keep quiet.
We've already got a lot done to get the house ready for my Grandma to move in, but there's probably a months worth of work to go. It's fun though. I'm glad to be able to be a part of it.
