JD's NEW SHOW!

Airing Sundays from 10 PM to 11:59 PM CST. A new show hosted by JD the Jazz Doctor! (aka me )

I am excited to announce the launch of this new Sunday evening show! COLLEGE DAZE REVISITED is an open genre radio show where anything can happen! Expect to hear The Banjo Corps of America, followed by whale sounds, followed by a bit of opera, followed by Buddhist chants, the Sex Pistols, and then Johnny Cash! Just to name a few!

Tune in to a show where the art of a song comes first, not the musical genre! I AM EXCITED TO HOST THIS SHOW! It will compete with any broadcast college radio show out there. This show will allow Jazz 101 to remain strictly a jazz program (the 2nd hour will no longer be supplemented with surprises that continuously upset the purists!). In addition, this show will allow me to feature the more obscure tracks yet to be featured on the station!

The fans of Jazz 101 know to expect the unexpected come the 2nd hour of the show. We'll now have a show where the unexpected is to be expected! The show will feature tracks from the modern jazz movement, the fusion jazz era, as well as experimental artists. Those who dig such things will enjoy COLLEGE DAZE REVISITED.

I encourage all musicians of any genre to contact me at jazz@freezeframeradio.com to find out how to submit demo cds and mp3s to be featured to the world-wide audience on Sunday evenings. America is just starting to tuck themselves in for the evening, and Europe is logging on at work. Get heard by a world-wide audience looking for something new and different!

LOL!

Yes, there will be yodeling, there will be bag-pipes, there will be experiental poetry. But there will be some kick a$$ unsigned independent artists, as well as a host of b-sides from old classic rockers as well. It will be a late Sunday evening free for all! Maintain your independence, creativity, your sense of fun and adventure- YOUR FREEDOM! Sunday night is Sunday night, NOT MONDAY MORNING YET(unless you are in Europe of course). STAY UP LATE AND LISTEN!! This show is designed to remind you of the days (daze) of college- where all you had to worry about on monday morning was if there'd be a slice of pizza left in the fridge for breakfast and if that hottie in the lecture hall would be sitting by you again! This show is the sound track of that independence and creativity!!

thanks ultimo!

With this show, I really get to cover all of the music I love- Und 80s captures the stuff I loved in high school, College Daze Revisited captures the weird wild stuff from those days, and jazz 101 captures all aspects of that genre.

Sunday nights on Freeze Frame Radio. Best wear a helmet as you will be smacked with the good stuff!
