Almost seven AM and it's first getting light out. It get's dark at 7 too. Thats only 12 hours of daylight. Winter is definately on it's way
Morning all. I'm up early today so I thought I'd start the daily thread.
Tonight will mark one week of being back in WI. It already feels like I've been back SOOOOO much longer. But that's not a bad thing. I'm glad to be back. I guess I'll always be a cheesehead at heart
Well morning all! I am so tired! We haven't been to bed on time at all so far. I have a Mt Dew and a Snickers for breakfast. Need that jumpstart- lol
Well as I said yesterday we went to Kohl's so I could use my gift card. I checked and made sure I had a balance on the card, that it hadn't expired or something. It showed I had $50. I shop forever because I can never find anything that fits right. My husband goes and waits in the car after awhile. They only have 2 cashiers and they are doing a promotion signing people up for credit cards. I finally get my turn and the cashier has to replace the register tape. Then she runs my card and it isn't showing a balance! She calls mgr and she does the same thing and tells me there isn't any. She was very nice though and decided to check loss and prevention. I call my hubby back in because even with the card I ran over $1.71. We wait forever but then she comes back and tells me that she got it worked out and then gave me an additional 10% off for my trouble.
So I ended up with a belt, jeans and some new sterling silver hoop earrings. (Sad that that's all I get for $50!) Earrings for 3 of my 4 holes. I had one hell of a time trying to get them in my ears though. They are a crappy design. My top holes are all messed up again. One day I may just give up and let those close up. Today we have to take the car back to the mechanic. The belt keeps whining, still smell anti-freeze and we are losing anti-freeze. However it does not appear to be mixing with the oil. The mechanic says that it may be the water pump. We just want to pay this stupid car off but we keep getting set backs!

Good day all. I'm a little late getting in today. I had to get a flat tire fixed.
When I drove home last night, my car kept pulling to the right. Luckily it's a short drive home, and I found I had a flat tire. And of course, the Law of Flat Tires says that tires only go flat when the weather is bad. So of course it's raining as I'm changing the tire. And I ask Brian to help me, which really just means being my third hand and hauling the tire to the trunk, when I found out he has never changed a tire before! In my family, that was one of the required skills to have before you even got your driver's license.
Morning all. Another day. I am hoping to actually get out of here on time tonight. I know that that point in the day is so far away, but I have been here late the last two days. I hope I can get things straightened out today. I still have a ton of month and quarter end work to do. Ugh.
