There are stories on the home pages of both MSNBC and CNN reporting that Angelina Jolie will appear on the cover of W Magazine, apparently breastfeeding one of her twins. Why is this newsworthy? The world economy is tanking. We are less than a month out from the elections. We are at WAR. Why, oh why is this story among the headlines?

I suspect it's to divert our attention away from everything else that's happening. You know the spiel.......give 'em a "feel good" story to take their minds off their worries.
Probably so. I just now feel burdened with that ridiculous piece of information. I generally don't read that magazine, much less do I contemplate it's existence. This will not make me care to reconsider my position.
