The GMT Project - This Sounds Interesting

OCTOBER 15, 2008

We want to celebrate 10/15/08 by doing something different from our usual daily routine of inviting people to share an image taken at 10:15 AM their local time.

Instead on this date, were asking our global network of friends, and anyone else who might be interested in the idea, to take a photograph at the exact same minute around the world 10:15 AM Greenwich Mean Time.

Our goal: to record one global singular minute in our lives.

Email us at photo@ten15am.com if youd like a spiffy reminder and something you can forward on to people you know. Otherwise, see you at 10:15 am GMT. For those of you in Billings, Montana, we apologize in advance. But you can go right back to bed!

When you send in your photo, please include your name, a title for the photo + the time it was taken.

See the fancy map and list below for time conversions for some of our regular ten:15 locations. Here is the link we used for our global time zone adjustments; but please make sure to check or confirm your local time for any geopolitical differences (were talking about you newfoundland).

I won't be able to participate. hmm
I will be either at the hospital or helping them get to the hospital. In any case I don't think my subjects would be cooperative. My father-in-law already thinks that people are not expecting him to make it because everyone is calling him. I can only imagine what he would think if I were to get my camera out. no.gif
