I'd love the time to learn Spanish. I've always felt that would be a good skill to have to at least understand it.

I would like the time to take up photography. I enjoy nature. I would like to be able to take a day, the camera equipment, lunch, a snack, water and just see where my desire takes me and see what it produces.

Sit down and sew. I have several pairs of dress pants that have lost a button or the hem has come out of the leg. Plus I have a few shirts that have a seam that has come undone or a button has fallen off too. But I need someone to teach me how to do these things first.

I would love the time, and $$$, to go on a nice long vacation in Mexico again, but with my sweetie this time. Maybe participate in an excavation, do some snorkeling, and just enjoy and relax. I miss that.

A photography pointer:
When taking pictures of people don;t just point and shoot. Try to get eye level, especially if shooting a child. Don't take the picture straight on, inch to the left or right slightly, helping reduce the red eye syndrome. Don't take a posed picture. Be prepared to sit with your camera for a min or two. Allow the subject to be them selves and snap when you see something interesting. Make sure you have fast film or set your digital to motion photog.

Try it you will be amazed at the difference in the photgraphs you get.

Well, yesterday a friend took me out to Hawk Mountain. It was an hour drive, but it is a lovely place. All sorts of Hawks and birds migrate between September and December. The fall colors are just starting to change. So, it seemed a bit to early to go for the beautiful colors. But it was a great day for a hike. We didn't see too many Hawks. There are several trails and they vary in distance and difficulty. We spent a good three, three and a half hours out on the trails and climbing some rocks. I am out of shape, so I was defintely beat by the end of the afternoon. I thought I wasn't going to be able to move today, but so far I seem okay. I wonder if that second day soreness will be what gets me. We shall see tomorrow. I did take the camera and was just playing around with some landscape shots. The fresh air and sunshine was great.
